Hey guys,

Holidays are over. It's back to the good old days of school. The thing is, I have not been a good boy during the June holidays. My homework is left uncompleted. I haven't even tried doing any of the suggested ACE. I have not been very proactive about my project. I'm screwed.

But I'm sure majority of you did what you have to do, and so, good for you! :)

Okay, screwed or not screwed, we have to face up to the challenges of Term 3, which is probably the most hectic term of the year. Below is a video to inspire all of us.

I tink theres rilly no nid to b so serious abt that "mystery post" thing cos it doesnt rilly matter rite? Cos firstly, i din get insulted, and i dun tink anyone shud b insulted. For the 6 ppl that were mentioned, pls say smth if feel offended in anyway and that guy shud apologise. Otherwise, we shud take it as a joke. And its rilly true, and i like the way the poster phrased things haha, i mus learn frm him.

By the way, can i make a wild guess abt the identity of the poster? Nvm, i shall not say. Using clever elimination method, i derived at Mr. X. First i took a class list and cancelled out ppl like Irvin, Mao, Murfy, Junxiong, Weikang etc. U noe, those ppl who we can trust not to do such a thing. In fact i narrowed it down to abt 10 ppl. I noe im out (obviously). I included the 6 ppl mentioned, i included some guys frm Aphelion (cos if anyone wans to bond the class, its them), I included OBQ n YongQuan, cos it sounds like their tone, and also some ppl who occasionally act funny. Then i tot abt my position as a possible suspect, and the "culprit" obviously wanted the class to include my name in the list of suspects. Who would do that? I tot abt that. So basically,
Our class achieve one thing or two after 6 months.
This post is not meant to insult anyone. Just take it as some coolbits and laugh it out.
Just to highlight some contributors:

1st Prize: Zhun Song. He has felt Noob since the start of the year and continues to feel noob. Being a noob, he has gone around making people snigger at his noob marks. Etc maths which he felt noob missing 40 by 1. Feel noob because jierong say so blablabla.

2nd Prize: Jierong. One of the main contributors of CO2, he enjoys to open his mouth. He fills the class with jokes and funny antiques, lifting up class spirit, that we may study hard and greet teachers well like madam sow.

3rd Prize: Vernon. Thanks to his unique tone, he has united the class in one voice. Members of class 4s3 echo his sound which breaks the silence like wonderful music. He hairstyling talent is also of great value.

4th: Tseng Wei. The leader of 4s3. He knows how to command respect. He has many loyal supporters whom he address as comrades. He has mastered the art of marching and shouting. His charisma and loyalty for Germany inspires us all. Xuan ler is his right-hand man.

5th Prize: Mark Tern. I'm sure you still believe the air-con coming back to our class was a accident after SMOPS. But let me tell you one thing, Mark Tern did this.. with his big stash of green notes. Hon just could'nt resist the temptation. Mark's all rounding skill in basketball, soccer and pool is also one of a kind.

i want to use this opportunity to thank all of you for your contributions and willingness to participate, considering we did not have any creative ideas or enough time to prepare. Especialy to the 7 ppl in the main dance + Irvin, and Daniel who did the solo dance too. 

In my opinion, our class dance was way better than expected.. and i guess we made a very strong impression in everyone and mrs sow. 

We have long been considered as the smtp class with the worst msg. i think from this we really proved ms chua wrong and we do have class spirit. If you didnt know, there was a mass downloading of poker face in some classes in the sch after our performance.

No Motivation

Hello,

My results are ATROCIOUS! B3 for Physics, A2 for Chemistry and worse than C6 for IH.

Therefore:

• I have no mood to revise.
  
• I have no mood to do homework. And I have overdue homework with me.
  
• I realised how bleak and desolate life can really be.
  

In other words, I have no MOTIVATION. And motivation is an important drive to mug. In fact, I don't really feel like doing anything anymore. Except playing, and probably get lost in time and space while playing. I just wanna go into a long and deep slumber and never wake up, ever.

That is why the June holidays are ever more so important.

June is a time:

• To mug.
  
• To finish up ACE.
  
• To get lost in time and space while playing.
  
• To sleep.

However in the end, Darwin's theory of evolution still prevails. Survival of the fittest. We'll all undergo 'intellectual' selection and under this selection pressure, I'll be the first and only one to get eliminated, since I'm the noobest. The rest will be better adapted for the immediate local environment and so on and so forth.

Life just sucks (for me).

until aft sch. A few of the more enthu ppl stayed back to practise a dance for a compulsory class performance. There were onli 6 of us doing. Cos tink of it this way. "Class, I have an announcement. We nid some ppl stay back to practise class dance. Those who want to dance stay back, those who dun wan, nvm, go home." Wad are the odds that half the class will stay back? I was rilly surprised actually, that aft i made that announcement, all got out of the classrm casually, except a 8-10 more voluntary ppl. But we ended up wif 6 ppl dancing cos others got stuff on. Its not bad actually. Its rather doable, hence i wrote my will and decided to join as well. Who knew, im dancing in front wif Jianyang. So 6 of us (Nick, Jianyang, JieRong, Irvin, Don n I) practised over and over from 3.20 to 5pm. Not bad, we made more progress then i expected. We managed to more or less practise the first half of the dance, though i tink we nid more rehearsals. Quite disappointed wif the class spirit though, even though i expected less from this class.

Evidence of extinction of class spirit can be proven by the liveliness of this blog (if our class spirit ever existed at all).

Dear Dr Hon,

I am Ta* **** *o** from 4S3 and I am writing on behalf of my class. Our class has commited a sinful mistake by leaving our air-conditioning as well as our projector in our classroom, SC7, on when we were in LT2 for another lesson. These luxurious facilities provided generously by the school to create a conducive learning environment for us are not to be taken for granted. They belong to the school and we do not foot the bill, hence we have no right at all to abuse it irresponsibly like we did, no matter how long the period of time is. Despite many gentle reminders from our kind teachers, we still failed to switch off our electricity. As a result, we have learn our lesson through some physical discomfort and having our priviledges confiscated. We hope you agree with us that we can see this is not only a small penalty for our carelessness, but a serious reminder so that we can act responsibly and take care of our classroom, to make it as conducive as possible for us as well as all others who use this classroom. We will not put the blame on any individual, but we will see through this one month as a class and learn from our mistakes, learn class spirit, and learn collective responsibility. We assure you that we fully regret our mistakes and would like to beg you forgiveness in the matter. Regardless of what decisions or punishments placed on our class, we will definitely make full use of this opportunity and use this event as a constant reminder to ourselves to not take things for granted, treasure and take good care of our classroom, and act responsibly at all times. We assure you that our classroom will be ready whenever you wish to inspect our class, never to repeat our mistakes. I've just watched the whole trilogy of The Matrix. This is the third time I've watched all 3 movies in one go. It's actually a complex movie, now that I think of it. Heh, I used to watch The Matrix just for the fighting scenes, but if you go to Wikipedia and search for it, it has actually a far more complex storyline.

I've not really been punctual in handing up of assignments and homework recently. If you wanna know why, it's partially because of this super addictive game: Desktop Tower Defence.

This game drained me of months of time, but it's really fun! I can promise you that. Although from the picture, it seems like nothing much, it's one of the most addictive games I've played so far. It's like one of those games that are easy to play but hard to master.

This is the BEST Tower Defence game I have played. Most Tower Defence games have already presetted the map for the player at the start, but in Desktop Tower Defence, you get to create your own maze! And the many diverse types of enemies and the different modes of gameplay increases its replay value dramatically. You will be spending hours thinking of how to perfect your own deathtrap to crush your seemingly feeble enemies! Haha...

If you are wondering when I started playing this game, I knew about it when I was in BSC on October. Yeah, and I never got bored of it since. Till now, I've only managed to make it to about level 75 in the '100 levels' mode. Each game typically lasts about 15 to 20 minutes. And the rules are simple. Build. Upgrade.

Dare to play? It will change your life...for a few weeks/months...

2nd day in BeiJing.

Ytd went to the airport in the morning at 6am and flew to beijing. Ok so anw. We arrived in beijing and we went to our Dorm. We immediately unpacked as much as possible and went to settle admin stuff. Then we went for a night hike to a 'nearby' supermarket. We spammed air fresheners cos the toilet...

In beijing, water supply is not portable. It is freaking cold. U hav to be brave to wash ur dishes, wash ur hands or brush ur teeth. And u completely cannot bathe. So Junjie n I took our laundry baskets and went to an abdandoned kitchen on the other end of the corridor, and with luck, found hot water supply. We filled em up wif hot water and used a mug i bought at the supermarket to bathe. We spammed the perfume in the toilet or else ur body would b cleaner than the bathroom.

Atmospheric temperature. COLD! Those who went in Dec'08 batch, wif boqing. Dun come n talk cock say u coldest winter solstice shit. We r freaking cold. Our max temp in the day is 1degrees today and last nite max temp is -5. I hav problem typing now cos my fingers are literally frozen. And evryth is frozen. And snow. Hot shit snow! Its not dandruff snow, its not blizzard, its rilly snow. We dun hav heater supply. Use one word to describe ur experience in Beijing so far? COLD!

Food sux.

Internet is rare. But thanks to John (thank god John came wif us) he fixed the linksys and evryone is DOTAing now. I hate DOTAers. They make mugging and sleeping difficult. Btw, u noe better than to call me rite? I bought a new SIM card and my number, if i can rmb correctly, is 15116962791.

I CAN'T STOP FEELING NOOB! Everyone around me seems to own!

Tests this week

Physics was a killer! I wonder if anyone got 30 or above. I think Yizhou and WeiKang got 30 each.

IHC mock test was marked dam slow. Oh anw, those who wanna cheat a lil, the 2 qns are Korean War n Isreal related. Those who wanna ask me how i did so well, i asked the tchr. In fact all ihc tchrs would say, ts, elaborate, link back, and comparison conclu. I used to fail my ihc, then i went for remedial sabbat, and that helped me alot alot.

Chem test, i took it today. Thanks to all those who came into the classrm aft sch to disturb us, i almos couldnt fnish. THere were bonus qns, dam easy. All i can tell u is, go memorise the common oxidising agents and common reducing agents. And go mug ur chem calc, its very impnt. Go memorise ur color of ppt and tests for gas. I helped u alot, so those who dun read this blog, too bad for u.

1 test down. More to go. I can't stop feeling worried for the English test. When I completed the first draft of my summary, I had only 126 words. And Daniel beside me finished in 1 hour, when I was still struggling. This is bad.

I don't know how to do the 3rd question for IHC worksheet 1! The one that requires us to research on 3 historians. I've tried Wikipedia and Google, but all I've found were only biographies and irrevalent stuff, nothing on the origins of the Korean War.

Upcoming major events would be CNY, and then submission of IHC wks, which i hav no idea how to do. Also, some ppl wil b going of to BSC soon. So this will b a good place to organise notes and anyth u learnt in class. If anyone has the time, or bothers, pls put down all the notes that u jotted down during class so i can mug in beijing. Talking abt teachers, im not happy wif my new teachers. Mdm Loke i supposedly a gd EL teacher but she spends too much time talking cock and acting retarded. Ms NeoSH is gd, Mrs Teng is good, but students wif weak points would fall far behind. Ms Chua, lols. Mrs Sow, lols. Mrs Koh, ... Mr Paul Ho, he is going way way way too fast, dun u agree? And for those who study geog wif me, Mr LimHC is ur teacher. Next time u go his lesson try to notice this: he has extremely strong vocal muscles, strong neck muscles and the ability to make us do reports aft reports. Speaking of teachers, r teachers invited into this blog?

I hope this blog will onli die when we die. This blog is very useful in terms of class discussion. THis shall be a portal for class announcements, formal and informal discussions, and some homework help or any help or sharing by anyone. So ZhunSong created the ball and i started the ball rolling, pls dun let it stop. I tink we shud add in a section of the members of class 4S3, and then link all those wif blogs.

Introduction

Hello guys,

Thought it would be nice to create a blog for all of us, where we can share information and stuff. Heh, I've decided to use the word saccharin, cos that's the word I've pointed to when I closed my eyes and searched for a word on the letter 'S'.

Okay, anyway, we should try to abide by some of these rules when using this blog:

i) Always sign off with your name or nickname after posting, or else we do not know who has posted! And use nicknames we are familiar with e.g. Mao

ii) Do NOT post anything that might be offensive to anyone we are close to. For example, talking about how George Bush is a lousy leader is allowed, but flaming teachers is not.

iii) No vulgarities, please.

iv) If you wanna add something new to the blog, such as a jukebox or changing the skin, post about it and consult the others before doing so. Personally, I think the current skin is crap, cos it's from the set of templates. Lol, who knows how to edit blogskins?

Alright, basically that's about it. Feel free to share anything from games to homework to tests or just passing information. DON'T LET THIS BLOG DIE! =O
